OMG! the plane flew for several hours after it went off the radar!!! http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304914904579434653903086282?mod=WSJAsia_hpp_LEFTTopStories&mg=reno64-wsj&url=http%3A%2F%2Fonline.wsj.com%2Farticle%2FSB10001424052702304914904579434653903086282.html%3Fmod%3DWSJAsia_hpp_LEFTTopStories
That's inaccurate. If you read carefully, the article says the plane could have flown further. Not definitely tjat it definitely did. My daughter and I had considered this possibility. We worked out a radius of where the plane could have flown to and the area is huge. From India to Indonesia.
Cheung Read the article carefully... Wall St Journal has info from Boeing from the routine maintenance and monitoring programs from the two engines that the plane had flown about 4 hours since last contact.
http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304914904579434653903086282 At one briefing, ... officials were told investigators are actively pursuing the notion that the plane was diverted "with the intention of using it later for another purpose."
My theory ... One or both of the pilots turned off transponder and flew back to Indonesia or southern Thailand to use plane/ passengers/ cargo for ransom but encountered HAZE and crashed into ocean. That's why Malaysia so secretive/ evasive

This incident will likely turn up to be a huge headache or embarrassment for the MAS airline and govt, either showing their incompetency or their lack of transparency... If what WSJ says is true and the transportation minister continue to deny Boeing's latest information.
This is such a strange one. I can't believe that in this day and age that we don't have the technology to locate the whereabouts of something as big as a commerical plane. How did they know that the plane's engine continued to run?
[h=1]US Officials Have 'Indication' Malaysia Airline Crashed into Indian Ocean[/h] http://abcnews.go.com/International...irline-crashed-indian-ocean/story?id=22894802
Many contradictions. Boeing says engines were running for extra four hours, malaysia says cannot be. But Malaysia also asks US to check Indian Ocean which is about 3 hours flying time..... So if Malaysia doesn't believe engines were running that long, why search the Indian Ocean?
Having the bomoh come in says it all. Is it a hijack, plane flown to a military base, mobile phone signals blocked and now a stand off?
