how to fix tension gauge on stringing machine?

    hey all,

    i have an eagnas table top crank machine given to me by coach but the tension gauge is completely wrong. i need to craank it up to 38 in order to string at 28. how do i regulate the tension meter? any advice is appreciated

    I think most cranks are adjusted in the same way. Basically there's 2 screws that you need to adjust with an allan key. One is a locking screw that you loosen first, then adjust the other one. It moves the locking catch up/down to adjust the point at which the brake is released.

    may be the tension spring is old, compressed and not accurate, change the spring.
