Yep - went back to SH-8500.

The LYD were made for him... and he doesn't wear them.

No need to even mention shoes. At least he worse them for over a year. One cannot say the same about his signature racket

Perhaps he's not keen on all the fuss or attention?

Maybe. But he should know by now that the badminton world has had eyes on him ever since he won that gold in Beijing. Pretty unavoidable especially with his track record of consistently getting to the top of the world.

He can accept it, doesn't mean he has to enjoy it.

he's had bad lucks with big games in recent past. he missed last olympic gold medal(won bronze with jjs), missed gold in last asian game(but won gold as team), and missed 1st place in last world championship(to his fellow korean duo, and a former partner). regardless of those unfortunates, he's climbed up to rank #1 whoever his partner was, and that really tells something about him. LYD and YYS have been winning most of superseries since those two were paired. i really liked JJS, but YYS is also a very good partner who can play like JJS with better physicality(younger, taller, etc). can't wait to see them in action in next event.

for me, i'm going to play today and will wear my SH-LYD and use LYD racquet.
