Just wondering if anyone uses grips for tennis racquets instead of ones made specificaly for badminton.
Yah, I do. I take off the original grip and use Wilson Tennis grips. They cost almost double to what a badminton grip cost, but also last twice as long ... for me, that is. -dave
Actually, a lot of grips (especially over grips) are universal for most racket sports, such as badminton, squash, tennis, etc. Good example could be Yonex supergrap, Babolat VS overgrip, etc.
Yes, that is correct. Yonex Supergrap (A440) is used for both tennis and badminton. The grip's weight will vary depending on the thickness, so if you don't like heavy weight, then, go for thinner ones.
I always found that the Wilson cusion air is thicker for the tennis grip than the badminton (width wise) and feels a lot better. If you use the badminton one sometimes it is not long enough if put over another grip.
