Just wondering, are there any World Champions that have accounts that they oftenly use on this Forum??
I'm not sure if I should be saying his... but... Yes, we have a lot of pro players here but they all use pseudonyms. It's up to them to decide if they want to reveal themselves. The forum, on its own, cannot give out identifying or contact information.
world champions? two of them who used to post with open identities here were thomas laybourn, XD world champion and Jonas Rasmussen, MD world champ 2003
What is said is correct. There are former and current players and other badminton personalities registered in this forum. However, due to the anonymous nature of the registration, it is up to them to reveal (or not) who they are. It is our responsibility to respect their privacy.
It is amazing when a high-level player or official openly posts on BC. The last thing they would want, however, would to feel trapped in a non-stop advice column for all we eager fans. We will have to promise to behave if a pro ever reveals themself again for our edu-tainment.

I guess we should not even be hinting about the SuperUltraTopSecretPrivateSection within a hidden private zone wherein the top ranked players hold discussions about which of the forum posters have the worst technique, whose jerseys rock, and which forum regulars needs to retire.. (from playing amateur badminton that is, not from posting) . btw, note the original poster's ip address...we need to link it to our satellite to find his home address and silence him! muahahaha j/k
