After a tough 2 hour session for my aging body, a large bowl of Vietnamese pho noodles with raw beef totally and completely satisfies my hunger for carbs and protein, and thirst for fluids.

If i were in my native Malaysia, I'd be eating 20 sticks of satay with chow kwai teow and drinking litres of fresh sugar cane juice. :)

    What's yours?

There's a middle-eastern place down from my rec center, I sometimes go there after a good night, to pick up some kabobs or shawrma.

I think the term is rare.

I wish there was a Pho place near me. I haven't had a good one in a while.

Yummm... there's this Japanese place close by that is run by Japanese that has really good udon. My favourite is nabeyaki udon, with prawn tempura and chicken, and a raw egg that you mix in. (Hehe... I like raw things don't I... :D ). Will have to take pics next time.

Wow... That does sound good :000 yes be sure to take a picture! I've had beef udon with prawn tempura in it just not the raw egg part! Haha , does anyone here have any food they would like to share that they actually make rather then buying? Aha highly doubt a lot of people will do this because after a session you will be tired / lazy ahahah :)

Pho is the food of the gods, there is no equal.

I never really make anything after a session (b/c I'm tired). If anything I make dinner before, then come back to it after.

Parents make you food? What a luxury!

Instant noodles, egg and hot dog is really common in HK. Maybe you are just normal ?? Lol

instant noodle can be mixed with all sorts of stuff.

try luncheon meat (SPAM), sausage, egg (try whipping it after pouring raw egg into the pot!), ham, bbq pork (char siu), etc, etc. the possibility is endless.

memories of the secondary school days.

You guys are amazing! That food looks so good!

My only "exotic" food sin after baddy is the Dairy Queen ice cream shop on the way back to my house!
