    Hey guys,

Please help me adjust my racket balance. I feel that my MXJJS with a weight of 87g and only a BP of 295mm is lacking power and momentum. Im looking to add more head weight to give the racket a better momentum. Problem is, I don't know how to adjust it.

I've heard about lead tapes but i can't seem to find any in my place. Do you know any alternatives?

    Thanks

Athletic tape that you can find in any drugstore. Lead tape will usually be found in tennis or golf stores.

    Swing faster? ;)

Yeah, athletic tape or Victor Powerizer would work well. You only need 0.5 to 1.5g total at 2 and 10 o'clock.

Eric seems to have a lot of Victor products but he just doesn't seem to list any on his ebay site. Do you know if he has a separate page for this victor stock somewhere? And anyone have his direct Email address?

Op, power isn't always simply adding more mass in the head. Sometimes it could be other factors. For example, the JJS may be too stiff for you and impeding your power or it could be that the strings/tension doesn't compliment your stroke.

Suggest to reduce weight at the handle. Use lighter grip. Don't grip it up the cone and less overlap. This would reduce the overall wet racket weight too.
My 3ug2 jjs weighs 97g, bp of 295mm. Could get bp of 305 if were to grip as above. However I like to grip up the cone. So I just leave it as it is and try to improve my game.
Using lead tape on my jjs doesn't work for me. It just swing strange and heavy but more solid feel on hits. Never try, never know. It may just work for you.
