    I just saw on Sports Direct they have the Carlton Kinesis X900 LTD for pre-order

    Yeah I know what you mean Ben. I was hoping someone would have tried it to see how it compared to the other kinesis but we will see if the price drops after a few months.

    Luckily, I tried it one week ago as Carlton sent us some samples from their new rackets. The paintjob is quiet similar to an adidpower Duoforce and looks good. The Vortex geometry system is much more visible with this new design. Specs written are : very stiff shaft - head heavy balance (as usual with Carlton) - 82 grs. That last information caught my attention because you rarely see a extra stiff racket with light weight. In play, I liked the fact that the head-heavy balance was reasonnable. On the midcourt game, it feels quiet comfortable. I like stiff rackets so I appreciated his accuracy ... As usual I didn't like the racket head from the Kinesis who's IMO not very stable.

    Thanks for the information ik2009, it sounds like a good racket. We will have to see how much the price drops once the racket is on sale.
