Mixed doubles pair Kim Dong-moon-Ra Kyung-min of South Korea will be out to set a new record in the All-England badminton championships, which begin today in Birmingham.

The duo won the Swiss Open in Basel last Sunday, beating China's Zhang Jun-Gao Ling 15-2, 15-8, to equal the record of 11 straight Grand Prix wins set by Denmark's Thomas Lund-Marlene Thomsen.

Dong-moon-Kyung-min, who are the reigning world champions and current world number one, will also be bidding to win the All-England title for the fourth time.

They were the champions in 1998, 2000 and 2002.

The reigning world champions and current world number one are the top seeds ahead of defending champions Zhang Jun-Gao Ling.
