Is thus racket compression ok?

    Just done my third job, 25x27 mx-JJS.

    The racket underneath is unstrung for comparison. Is this a good/bad/ok string job?

    It's normal for a racket to be compressed a bit with all that force pulling on it.

    Put it this way, I've never had any of my rackets turn up being out of shape from the unstrung state by 5mm on each and every side...

    You're sure you didn't do 27x25 lbs? :eek:

    That is a bit much, actually; 1-2 mm is more usual.

    You might want to start stretching the frame slightly in the machine before you string - some machines have some play in the 12/6 direction.

    P.S. Nice to see the "+1" pattern again:).

    top cross was a pain - not enough room for the post, let alone load spreader.

    Ok, now that looks good, almost the same as unstrung... :)
