Hey all, I just wanted to know how long could my string last. It's NBG98 26lbs on a JJS. A partner clashed his racket and a part of the string at 5 o clock got stripped. So worried, it was just 3 weeks old and i love it. I will post pictures

If the string is 3 weeks old it should be about to break regardless of the clash. I don't think it would affect it much as the clash shouldn't have been near any exposed mains so it should be fine. Also I can't see the picture because of the forum issues sorry.

3 week is long enough for a NBG98 I guess, since it's so thin and "sensitive" :p---:D Mine sometime break within 2 days of continuously used :D---Anyway, keep your string changing, may be twice for 3 months, it won't last longer without breaking or losing a few lbs of tension :3

just like shuttlecocks, strings are disposable. the only difference is that string usually last a few weeks while shuttlecock last a game.

there is no point worrying about them break. if it break, just go string a new set.

Agreed - string is the "petrol" of badminton rackets: a consumable.

(It's easy to say when you've got your own machine, though:).)
