If that so, they might have sent saina atleast. That should not be the case... No idea.

If Indian players were using Yonex, surely they would go.

But if their sponsor is Li Ning, they might prefer to concentrate on other tournaments.

Saina is sponsored by Yonex and Sindhu by LiNing. Gopichand was saying on that day that they want to concentrate on commonwealth games, Asian Games etc than participating in all tournaments. They might have thought to give sindhu an opportunity to get more experience.

Saina, earlier, in an interview said that she wants to be in optimal form for the big events scheduled in the latter part of the year and hence would occasionally skip some Super Series.

Hm....this is because gopi sir wants gold in CWG AND a medal in Asian....But hope she plays the Star Australia open...where she might face WSX (battle of my favourites )which will give her even more experience against Chinese top singles!!

My personnal view, TBH/HTH and GVS/TWK pairs should be maintained. GVS/TBH may be a stronger pair, but if we stick to this pair, Malaysia will only have one strong pair. There is no clear winner in MD department now, Indonesia, Korea, China, Denmark, Japan, Malaysia pair are almost equal, even Taiwan, Russia and Germany pairs are coming out strongly. So it's better to have 2 strong pairs instead just one....

Not too sure, Son Wan Ho will be a tough nut to crack for LD. Also there's the possibility of Jan O. Jorgensen beating him if he has a good day.

that will probably be one of the more "boring" games to watch, since LD is slowing down and CL's game has no "flair". they are very good players, but kinda dry to watch for me

LD v LCW would be more interesting because they've gone head to head so many times, it would be more fun, better rivalry?
