I'm wondering how will this year Indonesia Open be like in terms of event organizing, on/off-court entertainment packaging, etc with BCA as the main sponsor. The previous editions of Indonesia Open by Djarum was always entertaining. I couldn't find an entertaining badminton event like this in Singapore and Malaysia Open.

Wew, I'm surprised that Greysia Polii also registers in mixed doubles pairing with Kevin Sanjaya Sukamulyo. Have they ever been training together?

I am guessing that Polii/Kevin is put there in order to qualify to play but then their notional point is low, they are still in the reserve.

Sad if I can't watch Kevin this year. His MD ranking is also low and far below at reserve list despite he is unbeatable so far in 2 tournaments.

BCA will collaborate with Djarum Foundation to organize BIOSSP 2014, let's see how they manage this sport event.

    Subscribing this thread :D

I am surprised to find out that the new sponsor is BCA.
It was rumored that BliBli would take Djarum's place as main sponsor since last year.

Nevertheless, BCA is also a subsidiary of Djarum's family, and it is a larger corporation (compared to BliBli), and I believe the Djarum's would use same people / team to organize the upcoming events.

I look forward for any promo for BCA's card holder then :D :D :D

BCA, Djarum, blibli all are essentially owned by the Conglomerate Hartono family.

Yes, this is Indonesia where there are inflations every year unlike in Europe or Japan where they are trying just to get 2% inflation but they kept getting deflation.

Anyway, I believe my Bitcoin rates should be better than MasterCard or Visa exchange rate. I am competing for Western Union/Visa/MasterCard/Paypal business.

The VIP price is 20% of what we have in HK and China for equivalent seats.

Wow, it is true cost of living in Indonesia is more expensive than China.

We can't compare with hk open as INA open offer 3 times prize money.

Amazing that every year the VIP ticket sold out for finals day and semi finals usually.

Hm....hope many star players register their name....but I dont find it to be easy for the pros as this calendar year is so so exhausting for the players...UC/tc then jpn/Aus/Ina open then CWG then WC and Asian games and then the other ss and ssp tourneys...oh so tiring
It was indeed to tiring to type I wonder if any player contest in all of them..
I guess only SJH and den players can do that
Most InD and ChN players slip many tourneys

Semifinals will starts at 01.00 PM? Umm... I guess, the organizers will not use only 1 court like the 2 previous editions. Actually I like the format of using one court for semifinals. But it should start at 11 AM in order the matches are not playing till midnight.
