Default Tournaments like the Thomas and Uber Cup

What other tournaments are there that are like the Thomas and Uber Cup, where the players play as a team for their country. Besides the Olympics of course.

Thanks Cheung. So I have the Commonwealth Games this year to look forward to and next year for the Sudirman Cup. Just started watching many of the different tournaments and I find these country/team tournament brings more tension and excitement to the table.

I just checked to see if the Pan Am Games in Toronto next year had a team format but alas not. Just thought it might interest you since you were in the US.

it is one thing to watch one, but another experience all together to play in one. of course, most of us cannot even dream to play in the TC/UC/SC/AC, etc. but there are a number of locally organized team tournaments. i have played in some and it is a completely different experience than individual tournament. there is a noticeable difference in cheering and team spirit.
