Hi all Just wondering how people would packaged a badminton racket for shipping? A racket is fragile, any good ideas to prevent damage during shipping? Thanks in advance to any replies
reply to koolkai hi, if u wanna post just one racket, I don't think shipping is the best choice. Just post it by post office is better. Personal advise.
Styroforms... small ones... pack lots of it into the package. That or crumbled newspapers. Pack the racquet in its own racquet bag/cover. Also ask for insurance quotation from the post office so that the receiver could pay for it. Better safe and compensated than sorry.
Packing peanuts and crumbled newspaper works great. I've shipped my racquets back and forth using that kind of packaging without any problems at all. Also, don't forget those great big red fragile labels. -Rick
I found that, putting the racket into the original carrying bag, then put it to a big box with paddings/bubbles can avoid 99% of damages.
