Some of the countries with pretty strong representation here include Sri Lanka (of course!), India, Thailand, Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia, Australia, USA and Singapore.

Also here are players from Austria, Denmark, France, Philippines, Iran, Bangladesh, Canada and Macau.

Lee Hyun Il is the only player from Korea playing here!

The Karunaratne clan is present and accounted for.

This is the best chance for Akshay/pranav to get back to their form so that they have an easier draw in CWG...same goes for other Indians....Lucas corvee is in great form he will surely prove to be a thorn to other players in MS....WS is more one sided as India dominates it..top seed Jamie can be easily defeated by the Indian ladies....I wish we witness pc thulasi/tanvi v/s arundhati ......

I think arunthathi withdrawn... still we have many chances... I am still wondering why gopichand not sending rituparna to any events outside India.... she needs to get more exposure.... NANDAGOPAL, a hidden talent in Indian badminton.... looking forward for his matches...

Young 19 year old Sameer verma won his match against recent Thomas cup malaysian team player Soon Huat Goh.

No wonder. Even when sameer was 17 or 18 years old, he won Wei Feng chong, that too in malaysia itself..

Kilasu Ostemeyer is talented double plyer , she is 17 yearsold.
I remember her and her partner after they beat Jwala Gutta/Ashwini Ponnappa in India open GPG this year.
