    Hey guys,

actually I have a problem with my PS3600. I do always a bottom up job. I use a load spreader at 12 o'clock position and string rackets from 22-32 lbs.
My bottom side supports leave sometimes small marks and sometimes not. It don't depends on higher tension.

So my ideas for the problem are:

    1) I don't stretch the frame enough with the 12 and 6 supports every time.
    2) the L shaped supports are worse than Chudek supports.
    3) I'm to slow at stringing
    4) I don't mount the racket right.

Maybe someone can share their experience and can help with my constistency.

    Thanks.

    1) and 2) are the most likely culprits.

Ideally, you want the stress of the mains to be "shared" between all the support points equally (or 12/6 and 3/9 if you mount a racket the way I do); if you don't stretch the frame enough, the 12/6 won't take up the load until after the other support points do, and the other supports will experience a higher load (and those opposite your cross starting end will get even more load).

The Mickal's are softer, so they won't mark the frame as much as hard supports will.

Those supports are the best thing I've bought for my machine.

I agree. The cost of buying Chudek supports are nominal especially if you think long term (a stringing machine should last at least 10+ years)

And they pay for themselves after one or two jobs.
