    England has no chance of winning that match (according to a betting agency)

    .
    Sad, but true. :):):)

    A betting agency put out this message (for this match that we are talking about here):

    "If England wins, you shall be rewarded with our market betting/winning odds. If England losses, you shall get your betting money back."

    When I read it, I was thinking to myself - 'Surely England has no chance of winning'.

    What's wrong with Spain? There is no many changes in the lineup from the last WC and the 2 European Champs. Just Casillas didn't play as well. I'm surprised the coach did replace him today against Chile.

    I am no expert but my take is this, due to no change everyone know how to counter their style of play. There were still using old concept to play today where team already change the players, formation and mentality. So Spain brought this onto them self. I could be wrong but that is how is see it and yes Casillas left his glove at home.

    2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil (Quarter-Finals are next)

    .
    We have arrived at the Quarter-Finals.

    Friday 04 July:
    * France - Germany
    * Brazil - Colombia

    Saturday 05 July:
    * Argentina - Belgium
    * Netherlands - Costa Rica

    Results link: http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/matches/index.html

    Not a surprise that only countries from Europe, Central and South America have arrived at the last 8.

    Comments from Australia can be found located at this link:

    It has been said that this 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil has the best FIFA matches (fast and furious) ever held.

    Let us wait and review it later (after the FINAL is played). :)

    An interesting statistics, of the last eight games(the knock out stage), not even one ball found the back of the net in the first 45 minutes(first half). No goal for 360 minutes, 6 hours. I believe it would be the same the next 4 matches. Whoever bets on this edition of World Cup is indeed a fool.

    3 goals were scored during the extra time between Belgium and USA. No goal were scored between 8 teams in 360 minutes! There is only one answer.

    I don't quite understand your theories. Weaker teams play defense so the stronger teams were not able to score in 90 minutes. After 90 minutes, the weaker teams' defense started to wear out and made mistakes, and that allowed the stronger team to score in over time. My theories may be too simple. :)

    Hummels pushed the defender before he scored. If the defender was Robben, he would have dived and the goal would be disallowed. :)

    Brazil's forwards could not score in the last 2 games. Neymar can't play physical games. Fred just disappeared in the front line. Just Hulk is playing well. I really doubt if Brazil can go all the way.
