What has happened to Sofian Wijaya? He hasn't posted in this forum this year; he hasn't answered my private messages nor any any of my emails, in which I had requested advice about how to order from his site (it is still apparently down for repair). Do we have to call Interpol or can anyone explain his absence?
don't know but would definitely like his website to come back on. from reading previous posts, his prices seem to be good and we could use some more online stores. calvin
He might have some several software problem. I wish he come back right now as I'M really interested in buying strings^^
i think so too... he ships the stuff from Singapore right? it would not be wise at all to buy just a few packs... but hey.. you could buy in bulk and sell them at the club... PROFIT Calvin
Actually, the shipping charge of 3 to 10pcks of BG-85 is only $5 USD. And given that the price per 10m pack is only $5.50, it is certainly worth ordering strings from Badmintonchain; however, Belgro.com is selling 10 packs of BG-85 for 50 EUR + 5 EUR for delivery within four days.
You can't buy BG-85 locally, though, Tag-Sports have BG-80 and Central Sports are able to order BG-85 at £10 per pack (!). So, is there still no news about Sofian Wijaya? Has nobody here kept in contact with him? I don't understand why he has also stopped visiting the forum; even if he has had computer problems, surely he would be able to visit badmintonforum (and respond to his customer's pm's) from another pc.
Bump! Still no news from Sofian? His site is still down with the outdated message: We regret that we would only be opened by 1st March 2004 with 8% discount store wide.
If you are looking for cheap strings in the UK, you can try gefen sports (http://dspace.dial.pipex.com/town/street/xnf37/) or presports (http://www.presports.com). Gefen has been around for a long ime, I use to drive up to North London to buy stuff from them. presports is a relatively new company, but nowadays I buy most of my strings from them because they are cheap and reliable .... ... but since I'm in malaysia right now, I'll just pop down to Pertama
I've recently bought some strings from this site which was forwarded to me. They ship from malaysia but no complaints from me since i've just received my order. http://www.presports.com HB
http://www.presports.com Thanks; I hadn't noticed that shop before. While searching for strings, I noticed that they stock Yonex grips which I don't think are available in the UK. Has anyone tried the Yonex Ti or Yonex E-tech grips; if so, would you say they were better than Karakal Pu Super Grips?
Wait a minute! Karakal do grips with those surfaces so it wouldn't surprise me if they were made in the same factory with only the name stamped in the grip by different machines but otherwise they are the same.
Hi have you use those karakal grips with that kind of surface before ? Are there any good ? How much are there ? Thanks in advance. I've been using those karakal PU super grip for a while now, about time to try out other grips .. pico
No I have never used these grips, I use either Wilson cusion air or for the last year or so I've been using either normal Yonex grap or towel grip.
