    Hi
I am using voltric 5 which i bought a month ago. Previously i was using a head light racquet.

I am feeling some pain in the wrist. I think it is due to the vibration from the string (that came with the racquet).

Please suggest an alternate string that is more shock absorbent that can be used for this racquet.

I am an intermediate club player. My game is more of control.

    Thanks.

I can't think of a softer setup than factory bg55. So either youre misshitting right on the frame or the pain is from the headweight. Try a slower less compact swing? I cannot get power from wrist only with voltric 5 like I can with my lighter 290bp revelation. Also its not comfy to try to. I hope that helps.

How can people suggest a string when no details are given of the strings and tension in the racquet at the moment?

Switch back to a headlight or even balance racquet checking if the pain go away.

I got a few problem when trying out the VTZF II too, the two reasons that caused me the pain were the high string tension and the way I used it.
I don't think you will have problem with a manufacturer string, :p I hope not :D
I suggest that you should use the racket more property, swing it big and careful, Do NOT use only your wrist for a strong return or trying to do any strange post that you can easily do with a head light racket. Don't stop your swing immediate when it still fast.
My wrist pain lasted for a few months as I was stubborn to change, there was a time when I cannot hold a chopstick without sacking. So take your time and get use to with the new weight, you will be able to use it just like a head light racket in the end, but take it slow if you don't want to suffer :p
    Have fun then :p

    Doing the exact opposite. :D
I mean that is how my game is . I stop the swing halfway and get ready for the next shot.

    Update :

The store guy suggested me bg68ti string. I have no idea about that. Have not used anything other than bg65 in my experience.

Is it good for absorbing the vibrations? At least to a level?

I'm currently using the bg68ti, it is said to have a soft feel but actually quite solid, the string is easy to break if you play ~20 hours/week but it will last long if you hit the bird property. It's ok at absorbing vibration at a limit unfortunately (or it maybe my racket that is too light)

By the way, you can go full swing and return the racket to ready stand instead of forcing it to stop in midway, it will take you a similar amount of time yet do not hurt your wrist :p

    Have fun

I suggest to string your racket with a thinner string @22lbs. Do you play plastics or feather? Maybe your slow shuttles are a problem, too.

Has the store guy got a problem with stringing in BG65?

Why change to a new string if you are not prepared?

One of my friends playing in the international competitions still uses BG65.;)

Maybe it will take the same time. But still I have to undo my game move and try it. Sure will try it anyways :)

Or may be I should eat properly. Weak joints :p

I play mavis 350 mostly. Very rarely play feather shuttles.

As I explained my problem to him, he suggested this string. Otherwise bg65 is the usual he 'll do.

Niceee B).What is the racquet your friend use ?

I guess you can try the different string and see if it suits you.

Racket? To tell the truth, I didn't even take a good look! It was Yonex......:)
