    Hello everyone,

I'm starting this thread because recently i've been tired of the yonex and li-ning stuffs and i'm starting to find this more and more expensive. Also, I think imho that qualitywise there's a lot of brands that are a lot cheaper than yonex for same quality (if not better).

When i say "cheap brand" i mean middle price range (around 100$ for a good racket)
    eg: Fleet, Flypower etc....

And i'm looking to find my favourite one among your comments :D

I'd like to throw in another vote for RKEP, and also Apacs. Before I started using Yonex and Victor, I only used Apacs.

One of their best rackets: Tantrum 200 and Lethal 70 are under $110.

Not a very nice title to use. :)

I would write it as "2nd tier brand". Besides Yonex and Li Ning, what other top tier brands are there?

What defines a top tier brand and then rest of the world? Market share or price of equipment (!) or others?

How is victor not top tier? At least in canada their new models are still going to end up over $200. So it's about $50 cheaper than yonex but I wouldn't call it a middle cost.

Perhaps we could call them alternative brands or less expensive brands? I have to agree with apacs as being a great brand. Another great brand is SOTX.

I've never tried RKEP rackets, but I've heard great things about them.

My favorite alternative brand would have to be the DC panda power rackets. Great stuff.

You can have as many brands as you want. Just go the the factory and ask them to print another name on the racquet. You can even have the brand "NemChua" on a range of racquets.
