Default looking for string : non-yonex, thick (0.70 or greater), hard feeling

    - non yonex
    - thick (0.70 or greater)
    - hard feeling
    - preferably not rough texture / preferably nano coated

Anyone know any string which meet all the above?
    Lesser brands is acceptable.
    Thanks for your reply.

Babolat - my friend bought some in Malaysia thinking they were tennis strings. 0.75mm thickness if I recall correctly. I don't use them and I can't remember if they had a name.

I passed them on to a very nice ex-pro who said they were perfect !! Lasts a long time.

If it has to be 0.7 or above, may be Ashaway Zymax 70 or Li Ning NS30?

If it can be a little under 0.7mm, then I would suggest BG80 (but Yonex).

But whilst I prefer thick strings, I don't like any of the above. My prefered string is NBG99 (Yonex again) which is 0.69mm if I remember correctly. It isn't a hard string though.

Li Ning NS30 would be my pick for this shopping list.

Try Adipower String 0.70mm super hard feeling. or you may also try Zymax 70. 0.70mm but not as hard as adidas string.

Pros pro tour 75, smooth, thick. Probably soft though. Ah, my old stringer had some technifibre I think it was. Hard as nails even at low tension. And smooth. Want me to ask which one it was?

I think Gosen Pro 70 is a good option, super cheap, grippy, hard feeling. Also 0.70mm.

Btw...why need so thick string ? Good ? Durability doesn't matter. String might need to change every 6months.

My current string is BG80P and actually my main purpose is to increase the racket BP (280mm) with a thicker string. The thicker the better but 0.80 not sure is usable nor have seen it anywhere before.

lol... you`ll get a neglible effect on bp with a thicker string...

if you want to increase bp, just use some athlete`s tape or badminton specific lead tape like victor powerizer

Once i went from NBG98 to AP62 on 300mm racket and racket felt noticeably lighter and faster. But the thinner string i feel not so good for smashing than thicker string. So now i'm trying in opposite direction.
