It's speed vs power, which to tradeoff more. Is the speed of the bs 12 really worth it? compared to the power of the 9000 that is slower? Mainly going to use for singles
Thanks for your input, but with faster swing speed comes more power if I'm not wrong? What's your take on that
Having experience with both rackets especially the BS12 extensively. I can only say they require two different swing styles to maximise power. But if push comes to shove the TK9000 in 4U provides more than enough speed for defence in singles and much better power on the slow all out smash compared to the BS 12 in 3U. The BS 12 is far better suited doubles racket.
I've tested the lyd in 4U and the 9000 in 3U. The lyd is a notch or two faster than the 9000, but not as solid/stable. I'm leaning towards the 9000 in 4U to get more maneuverability and everyone on forum says it's better. I will test the bs 12 hopefully next week to get a comparison. I really love the fast swing and how quickly the shuttle moves to the ground though. I guess I can live with a slower racket hehe just improve my swing to get it faster
Can you clarify the swing styles please? Am tossing up between a BS12 and something else so wouldn't mind hearing what swing styles suits the BS12. Thank you, Justin
