    Thought you all might enjoy this light-hearted Australian short film "Bruce Lee Played Badminton Too".
    It provides a glimpse into the changing face of Australia and attitudes towards the sport.
    Don't mind those illegal serves and strange training techniques. :D

    Also read an article how lawn bowls is making a revival in Australia. Badminton is going the same way?

    Like lawn bowls, badminton needs to shake off the image that it is a leisure activity instead of a sport.

    With the promotion of the Australian Open to Superseries status, it has gained greater exposure (I actually saw it on the news!) but I was disappointed that the organisers were promoting the tourism aspect of the tournament more than grassroots participation.
