Of course you are right. Badminton is physically more demanding than table tennis, with so much more space to cover for a start!

MS bronze playoff is on but the livestream is showing boxing. RMVG took G1, 21-15, from R Ouseph who is now leading in the 2nd set, 11-4.

Too bad, I'm not watching the badminton action as I'm reminded of warnings of viruses from unofficial streaming sources.

I've just watched the conclusion of the MS Table Tennis bronze medal match won by England against India.

Now is the gold medal match between Singaporeans Gao Ning and Zhan Jian.

SIN is assured of another Gold and Silver!

Agree, confidence and mental strength is very important. Hopefully Derek can keep his confidence high

I was out this afternoon so I missed the SFs Probably have to catch the replay on youtube.

Not sure if OKTO will be showing the MS finals later...

Guru saidutt won bronze medal by beating rajiv ouseph. Tomorrow 2 representatives for india in MS and WD respectively. Hopefully, kashyap will pull it through .

Jwala/aswini are doing well so far. Will they be able to retain their title?. Jwala has to cover the court well in order to win the match.

Jwala's rear is big enough to cover anything. I'm sure her kid would have to endure a lot of 'yo mama so fat..' jokes lol jk. They won with ease today, hope they can step up the game against better opponents tomorrow.

Great results in all categories today, some were expected and some were really great to watch .

SIN has to win the MS for the gold.
    MD will be very difficult.

    My pick for today :

MS- IND but rooting for SIN
    WS- IND
    MD - MAS
    WD- IND
    XD - ENG (Assured)

Wouldn't say its difficult for Singapore MD to win. Goh/Tan did not look impressive at all in their narrow victory against Adcock/Ellis, and this Singapore MD beat Goh/Lim before. Hopefully MAS can still nick the gold though. Also, WS is between CAN and SCO, no IND there Michelle Li should be the firm favourite.

Oh really, Sorry my mistake. I didn't check the result because I thought Sindhu would advance.

    GOLD medal matches :

MS - Derek Wong (SIN) v Kashyap Parupalli (IND)
WS - Michelle Li (CAN) v Kirsty Gilmour (SCO)
MD - Goh V Shem/Tan Wee Kiong (MAS) v Danny Bawa Chrisnanta/Chayut Triyachart (SIN)
WD - Jwala Gutta/Ashwini Ponnappa (IND) v Vivian Hoo/Woon Khe Wei (MAS)
XD - Chris Adcock/Gabrielle Adcock (ENG) v Chris Langridge/Heather Olver (ENG)

Four finals will be tough clashes as The Adcocks is favoured to win XD gold medal against their compatriot.
