http://www.badminton.nl/dutchinternational2004/indexenglish.htm to get the draw. The field is depleted even compared to the Polish Open. Even the top Dutch players are not here, for a good reason of course (to concentrate on Korean Open). But good to see some African names there. Bjoern Joppien (Ger) should have no problem. He will meet Sho Sasaki (Jpn) in the final if it goes according to seedings. Sergio Llopis (Esp) is in the same half as Sasaki. Petra Overzier (Ger) likewise in the women's singles. I don't even recognise the second seed, Petya Nedeltcheva from Bulgaria. Sergio Llopis/Jose Antonio Crespo (Esp) is the top seed. Second seed is a French pair, Vincent Laigle/Svetoslav Stoyanov. Danish pairs can upset. Nicole Grether/Juliane Schenk top seed in women's doubles. Petya Nedeltcheva/Nely Boteva (Bul) seeded second. Seeding upsets could come from Danish pairs. Perhaps the Dutch pairs can say something as well. In the mixed, the two top seeds are German pairs but there are some unseeded Danish pairs in there.
MS : don't forget titleholder Arif Rasidi MD : Laigle is not sure to be playing (recovering from an injury) so 2nd seed Laigle/Stojanov might not be playing.
