Gripping Towel Grip up to Shaft

    Does anybody grip towel grip up to where the shaft begins?
    If so, how do you do it so that the grip stays smooth up through the tapering of the butt cap?

    From the middle part onwards this will help you. I do mine that way as well.

    TL;DR: pull really really hard and then wrap it on; cut the tapered end where you want it.
