    @ Basingcraig,

    Jeez, I have never seen a handle break like that before. I've experienced a broken handle before, but the break was directly on the point where the cone attaches to the wood. I can understand an handle eventually breaking due to years of wear-and-tear, but the handle looks almost brand new. I hope you are able to claim warranty on the racket. I can't see a problem with that. Where did you buy it from? Was it from an online retailer?

    It was only a couple of months old, still waiting to hear back on a replacement under warranty

    done that to two of my dc/panda rackets, admittedly not within two months, though!
