Hello guys, I am currently being transferred to Auckland for a month for work. Its been almost 3 weeks now I have not played any badminton. My hands are itching mad. I hope that any kind hearted badminton lovers could tell me where is the nearest badminton hall in Auckland. Currently I am staying in 40, Beach Road Waldrof Stadium Apartments. I just wanna watch ppl playing and hear the sounds of shuttle in contact with racket string bed. I miss badminton very badly. Sincerely Mike
Hi Mike, You need to join a club to have better games over there. If you call the number below, tell them day of week and time you want to play and they should be able to help you with club contacts. Do note that once you join a club, they will normally grade you. If you are Grade-C and above, you get to play with feather shuttles. Otherwise it is plastic. The main hall for AKL is at Gillies Ave Epsom/New Market eg Gillies off-ramp if driving on Hw1.
