    Default Fighting Spirit in Sports

This is not about badminton but related:

On Belgium's chances of defeating China in world Ping Pong

championship finals, Saive said" We will beat them, providing

they miss the bus to the stadium". Belgium did put up a

credible challenge and so will China in Asia Cup semis.

Danish teenager who nearly beat World no.2 " I don't care if

I"m playing my mother or Kong Ling Hui, a loss is a loss and

    I'm disappointed"

Compare the ITTF website with that of IBF and see why

    badminton is so dormant.

Kudos then to Boonsak Polsana for his incredible fight against HI Lee. When I saw him play in the 1st set, I was almost tempted to start cheering for the Thais even though I knew they wouldn't stand a chance. When he won 17-16, it was pretty obvious that it was coz HI wasn't familiar with his game. Then when HI took the second game 15-3, I thought he would have little problems in the 3rd set. But when Boonsak returned some virtually irretrievable shots, it got me out of my state of dormancy and depression (after seeing Indo lose). For that few seconds, I suddenly realised that sometimes, it's not abt whether you win or lose but how hard you fight. Thanks Boonsak... you were amazing. Really.

Boonsak very skillful, only 19!Plays and looks like Heryanto

Arbi. The most alarming thing was that Sin stadium wasn't even

5% full!Which of the few people are you Adel, the camera managed to catch all the spectators.

Better not say lah... unless I can be sure I looked damn good on TV =P

Did the cam swing ard the whole stadium or did it only focus on one side? Coz the side I sat at was fuller. Mainly Korean supporters.

I think Arbi is slightly more handsome... hahaha. But Boonsak deserved the MVP award, definitely.

So sad.... Korea lost. Boohoohoo =(
