The level of pro badminton is even better there than on tv. I was watching the Asia Cup yesterday the last day of the group stages and it was great.

Anyway, i heard some people sitting around me say that Halim Hariyanto was in Singapore. Was he there as a subsitute? I didn't actually see him but thats what i heard.

How do subsitutes work in badminton?

I mean, how do they select subsitutes and what happens if 1 player out of the 2 in doubles gets injured during the game

If the player can't play, they retire and the match is forfeited.
