I dont have a lot of history to draw on, since i've not had the opportunity to see badminton players on video or in person before the mid 90's, but for now I will say Peter Gade. the main reason is that he seems genuinely interested in promoting the sport. He has videos on badmintontv.dk explaining techniques and tactics, so anyone (well, anyone who understands danish) can learn from his experience and skill. That said, he's also making a long come back from an injury setback, which has to be a very difficult thing to deal with. i also vote to stop using netspeak or whatever it is... funky spellings make it a big effort to read posts
i simply like cute guys........ Lin Dan (China) => i think he's cute, but he doesn't like to smile... mayb he is shy... hahaha his skills is improving everytime he plays a match... i think he is someone who has strong determination, mentality n confidence.... he trains real hard to get the best results... he is always doing his best for every tournament... this is something which i admire alot Xia Xuanze (China) => i think he's cute too.... he is very friendly, we chatted with him for awhile when we took photo with him n got his autograph in HK open last yr... i'm simply obsessed by his smiles he is reali training hard too... but bcos of his injury, he hasn't been performing tat well... Hope he can take good care n get well real soon.... Candra Wijaya (Indonesia) => he has a boyish looks despite his age.... hehehe.... he is cute n friendly too... he can play real fast in matches... great in terms of speed.... i wonder y he dont play MS

hehehe.... batam is quite near to singapore... n it wasn't expensive to go over there.... how i wish i can travel around wherever they go... hahaha well... if they r at places not too far from Singapore or it wasn't too expensive to go over or if i'm free... i'll try to go n c them my next target is Thomas Cup in Jarkata in May.... ohhhhhh.... i only saw them twice. World Championships last yr and Yonex All England this yr. I didn't notice Lin Dan until this yr. he was beaten q. quickly. XXZ won the championships and he threw his shirt into the crowd!!! sadly though, i wasn't there *sigh*. he's got a gorgeous smile and it's really infectious. *drool* It's really not fair, afta the AE finals, Lin dan threw this arm band at us but this english man caught it instead. Gr... but i did shake his hand so i s'pose that's good (it was my left hand). lol i have to wait another whole year, tell me what happens when you see them in May.

My favs: DEN Peter Gade L=75 P=80 DEN Camilla Martin L=80( met her once in KL, pretty offcourt) P=80 CHN Xia L=75 P=85 CHN Gao Ling L=60 P=90 INA Chandra Wijaya L=60 P=80 I liked Peter, Camilla and Chandra since i was very young. They have great personalities tho Camilla doesn't show much on court. Met all of them during Thomas & Uber cups in KL in 2000. haven't met Gao and Xia tho but love their on court personalities.

Your talent to insert a gem to cause laughter is really something, Cheung. Of all current players, I'd say I like Sigit the best, at least when he's still playing with Candra. I love his showmanship and flamboyant style of play, sort of makes badminton more colourful, if I might add. Too bad inconsistency creeps in more often than not nowadays since that he's getting old. As for female players - Zhou Mi. No explaination needed, I'm sure there are many who are willing to talk about her qualities until the cows come home...
haha this is not going to really fit in but... how bout chen qiqiu and zhao ting ting? haha... nice personalities on courts but even better off court! quite exciting badminton from them sometimes also but they tend to be a little too defensive... haha but i always love supporting the under-dogs i guess... haha
