LMFAO The MX JJS was nearly a shop keeper. But this must be a joke. Rackets of retired players don't sell like hot cake. And IMO a company like Dunlop which lives in the fringes don't need signature rackets. Maybe some brands like Hart will bring out a Chen Jin signature line.
they are 350,000 KRW(The whole series). If you need translation, I can provide it. (I'm korean ) 350,000 KRW would be similar to 341 USD. This is damn expensive.
It says that they had JJS in the designing of this racket, and that it's a limited edition(Which is why it would be this expensive) By the way.....I thought JJS was in for Stiff shafts? He used BS10, MX80 under Victor sponsorship and they're both stiff.... All 3 rackets are Flexible....WTF? But who knows? it might be worth a try. But I know for sure that i'm not spending 350,000 KRW to try this...
No racket except for a totally hand built custom racket is worth that sort of money. JJS doesn't have that much cachet.
I have tried quite a few high end Dunlop before and most of the models that I tried are flexy. The build quality is good and the design quite attractive. Generally cost about US$100+. I never could get used to the feel and hence sold them. Don't think any racquet is worth that kind of money.
Well...JJS IS the most well known korean doubles player after LYD... and MX JJS wasn't that bad wasn't it? But yes I agree I would never go close to buying such a racket with that price...even yonex doesn't charge that much for LCW limited editions... Oh and one thing. Most online badminton shopping sites in Korea have the prices to the original price. So it's probably twice the price of the best deal you would find somewhere else. I'd love to take a trip to China or Malaysia....i've heard they sell rackets cheap...Rackets just cost too much in korea... a Lower model Yonex (Nanoray 300, voltric 7) would cost a little bit(like 30USD) lower than a high end model yonex(VT80, Arc11 etc) you would find in some other country....what a shame...
im thinking of getting A3 and so far the best price i found is RM280 inclusive of BG66 ultimax string....
