My yonex racquet has developed this annoying rattleing sound inside of the head part of the frame. When I bought it, it didn't have that sound and now it does. It started after I had it restrung a month ago, so does it mean that I can't get it done at my normal tension?
The racquet's rated for <24 lbs and i usually string at 24 lbs. Do I have string lower now?

P.s. I know that others have complained of this in this forum before but nobody asked this question.

Could be a grommet that had snuck in

I checked if it had a loose grommet when I had the strings out, but alas, there were none.
Could it be rouge particles of carbon fibre?

Nah, it's a broken piece of grommet inside. Let your stringer get it out.

But I had changed my grommets a while ago... and none of the grommets were broken.

It may have broken off while stringing and your stringer replaced the broken grommet.

Nah, I just replaced the Grip on my racquet and the butt cap fell off. It turns out a little wood eating inscet had found it's way in and gnawed away at the wood near the buttcap, hollowing itself a grave. After it dried up, which was a little bit after I bought the racquet, it started rattling:eek:. And now I find it, after all the 1 and a half years I've had it. I guess I'll just fill it up with a bit of hotglue, staple on the buttcap, grip it, and resume playing.:)
