Hi I just bought a Nanoray racket forgot the name, but anyways the tension said to be range of 18-24 lb recommended, so it is possible if I string at 28lb will it break the racket, I don't mind if the string break because I get a more durability string.

SO let me know what the max tension it is just 24lb?

Well when stringing for customers, I wont do anything over 2lb over. Other, more experienced stringers will probably go more but in the end the only way to find out is to take the risk.

To answer your question, the stringer (assuming is a good one) will have to pull until your racket breaks.

The maximum tension would then be the lb that was just before that...........

No one will have the answer to your question, sadly.

You can have good drivers but accidents can happen. The faster the driver, even if he is really good, the higher the chance of an accident. Of course there are speed limits. Going over the speed limit is not necessarily dangerous but you might get some crazy motorcycles messing around and making you crash. I am sure you can see this in Malaysia.

So, the same thing happens with racquets. Accidents can happen. It's a risk that the owner of the racket has to bear. Nobody can answer what is the maximum tension. That is why the best answer is

Most top-level rackets will go to 30 lb with no problems given a competant stringer.

Indeed - although I have done FB to 30 before, I would not recommend it in general.

It's clear to us that TS wants to string beyond the recommended 24lbs but is not sure if the racket will be able to hold the tension.

For that, you're seeking validation from people here?

The best person you should ask is your stringer - if he feels confident of stringing to what you are looking for. We're just anonymous people behind a computer...

I'd risk a £30 racquet trying it. Personally, if a racquet cannot handle my desired tension then its not suitable. I've put 25+10% prestretch on a nanospeed so I'd happily take it to 26.

You could use thin string, zm62@24 will feel like 2-3lbs tighter.
