Congratulation to WCH for able to beat Taufik and reached the final in this year Malaysia Open. This my advice if you want to beat Datuk LCW (only applicable for the 1st set)
- "Belanja " him lunch before the match and request in advance 10 point before the match starts
and
- Tell him you got sudden diarrhea after the lunch and request another 5 point in advance
and
- His hair looks very "aerodynamically suitable for badminton" and request another 5 points in advance

........the remaining 1 point just wait until he makes a mistake.

If WCH takes a game off LCW, I would be happy enough.

WCH did play some good badminton before losing out.
I think his most significant weakness is his defence because LCW always win when he jump smash.

Eventhough you lost WCH, what is more important is that you are still able fight galantly despite your age and forced Datuk LCW to give the best out of him in order to beat you.........a fighting and will power spirit that DOES NOT EXIST in our backup players

the back up boys should "learn " from WCH on this ..

Congratulation WCH sifu.........
People said you always peak at wrong timimg, but I think at least you peak and beaten some good players like TH, better than those back ups who never peak at all..........
You make me proud of you...

WCH played on pure determination. Since become independent he still goes for training and weight rooms. But not as often. Lacking of good quality sparring partners also have its setback.

..for his age, he's done pretty good against the likes of TH and LCW (pushing LCW to rubber games in the Final of this yr's M'sia GPG; or maybe LCW gave him some chances in the 2nd game??)...

Thanks to Wong Hann, he did a great job making 2 points for our team this afternoon, and it was nice to watch him as it always is, great fighting spirit, - sometimes coaching the coach LOL (supporting Kenneth in the intervals in his first match for our team) - anyway, I hope Uncle Wong will doing coaching our youngsters when he stops playing his own games (hopefully he keeps on playing for a while!)

I hope when he retires it won't be the last we see of him in the badminton scene. It would be a good idea to coach in Germany and raise upcoming players like Olga who recently went there.

I asked him yesterday about that - going for coaching next (not the national team, but our team in Berlin, we really love him due to what and also how he is doing here) - he said something like 'not yet' - so I have some real hope that this could happen.
BTW - Olga is staying far away (for german distances LOL), playing for the German champs our team is trying to beat since 2 or 3 years - with Kenneth and Robert in the Squad we might get it this season - hopefully
