One of my racket get many large scratches over years. Im thinking of plastic dip it. SO I was wondering, is it going to ruin the performance of the racket?
Plastic dipping? Not sure what that is but it doesn't seem like a good idea...... If it's something like putting melted plastic on the racket and cooling it off so it gets hardened, don't do it. It's probably going to make your racket head heavier(If applied to head) or it may make your shaft stiffer(When applied to shaft) and the overall weight would get heavier. The best way to hide paint chips and scratches are sharpies just color them off.
Hmm i've read about someone using their car spray paint and they said it worked. Not sure about rim paint tho
plastic dip basically works on anything that u spray on, be it rims or even other car body parts, which u can peel off anytime u want. it might work on rackets but thick layer might alter the weight by a lot. thin layer might not be enough for protection. not sure if it will alter the aerodynamics of the racket too. pls do an experiment johnnxiv

It won't protect the frame, it's quite a soft material which will scratch quite easily. The other downside is that it will add some weight to the racquet which would probably affect the BP. Not to mention it would probably look awful... bad idea imo.
If you only want to paint the scratches, you can take waterproof DVD-Marker. bye, thegrobi badminton-tips.de
