From MS draw, LCW v LD scenario may happen in semifinal while second seed Chen Long has tough path from early round, to meet Chong WF (R/32) then Momota/Tanongsak (R/16) followed by Son WH/Srikanth (QF).

Malaysians always have easy draws, in team event, Malaysia was granted a bronze medal as a free gift by beating Nepal. There are so many teams better than Nepal to challenge Malaysia: Thailand, India, Singapore...

Lee Chong Wei got an easy draw too.

MAS besides LCW, others will be no chance to pass through first round at all...

Ahsan/Hendra road to the final is quite easy. They will face LXL/QZH then Kim/Kim. Angga/Ryan is not so lucky to meet YYS/LYD in round 16.

ZN/ZYL practically will breeze through the final unless Debby/Praveen provide much resistance. The final XN/ZYL either will face Tontowi/Lilyana or XuChen/MaJin.

TS can pretty much advance to meet CL in semifinal as long as he can beat Wei Nan.

Not to worry, Linda can upset WYH early and Bella can go the distance with PV Sindhu. Bella can deliver an upset.

Totally agree with you. I will not surprise if Linda upsets WYH. LXR vs Sindhu will be a very good match.

I wonder why so few Indian players are in the draw, only Kashyap and Srikanth. Where are others like Prannoy, Guru Sai, Sourabh Varma or Anand Pawar?

Wish Linda does that but I have a sure belief that. Pv will defeat Bella easily this time....
I think the fortune is playing something which is unusual by giving saina a chance for medal and pv a match with world no1 unlike the previous WCs where saina fought LXR

See. Both sindhu and saina are lower ranked than their corresponding opponents. And li xuerui is very much experienced than sindhu . Sindhu is just turned 19. Give her time. She will be one of the more formidable opponents in the future. Li xuerui has more experience in playing finals and winning it. Definitely, there is no way she is compared to sindhu. Even if she wins only one game against li xuerui , that's really creditable. She already defeated li xuerui once in china itself even when she was just 17. Who would have thought that she will win olympics champion. So, let's give her time.
