    Hello guys,

I just bought me a VT5 and am now thinking of restringing it. Currently it has a BG3 on it, but I noticed that the vertical strings are not going straight, but a little bit bend at one side, so that i can easily move them to a straighter position with one finger. The horizontal strings are pretty hard and seem ok to me.
I am an intermediate player, but playing with plastic shuttles only (Yones Mavis 350).

Would you recommend me to restring it, as I planned, with BG65 @ 24 pounds (for long life), or isn't it worth to spend the 20€ with my intermediate skills and plastic shuttles?

I don't play any prestrung racket anymore. BG65@24lbs is a very different world when you come from BG3@let's say 20lbs. IMO a factory prestrung racket is close to unplayable. I would spend the few bugs. BTW When you have to pay 20€ for a BG65 you should look for a different stringer. 20€ is too expensive. 15-16€ is pretty normal. And please visit a badminton shop and avoid Intersport or other stores.

Thank you for the tips, I will definitly restring it now. Btw, the 20€ include 5€ transport costs, because I dont live near to any serious shop that offers a stringing service and will send it to an online shop.
