So as I understand, the net should never be touched during a rally. But what happens if you hit the shuttle into the opponents court, then a second or two later lose balance and touch the net? Is the point you got just a second ago then given to your opponent? Or is touching the net after winning a rally irrelevant?
i would think that as soon as the shuttlecock hits the ground you can touch the net so after 1-2 seconds you can touch the net since the shuttle needs less time to hit the ground one close case would be when youre killing at the net, the shuttle might be on the ground already and you hit the net with you swingingmotion - i dont know how fast the shuttle hits the ground in that very close case, but that would be a mistake in my book
As long as the shuttle is not in play; you can touch the net. So if the rally is over, a fault or let has occurred, you can touch the net.
Is it a fault if you touch the net with your racket while the shuttle is not on your side but still on play
