Asian Badminton Championships
The ABC will be held in Chearas BADMINTON STADIUM
end of April.
Anyone coming to KL and need some help, accomodation, places to eat, visit, etc please PM me.
Doesn't matter what creed or colour you are , better if you are a mature working adult,so easier to get along. So are you listening, Loh,Tanneepak,Novi, Shu Yi etc ?
Please dont ask me to do following though :
1) Arrange matches and playing venues. I cant.
2) Talk business.
So Ants can't say that people in Msia are not hospitable.

You are included of course.

Thanks for the offer. However, I am having a hard time convincing my wife, as we were all set to go to China for the ABC which has since been re-scheduled to be held in KL. Anyway, there is a slim chance I might be able to come. No problem about food and accommodation, as my friends in KL can take care of the former and I get corporate discount on hotels. Will let you know.

Thanks Bbn. I will most likely be going for another visit to KLBA Cheras for the ABC and take the NICE coach up to KL, like on a Friday morning, so that I can watch the QF, SF (Sat) and Finals (Sun). Stayed two nights at Wenworth Hotel which is not too far from the Stadium. Last time I took the midnight coach from KL to S'pore on my return trip and report for work a few hours later on Mon. Will confirm details later.

Tournaments in Malaysia have very lousy websites, if there is at all.

ABC site is permanent.
During tournaments they will update.
Search Google or Yahoo etc.
I haven't bothered to do so yet.
I can understand Yong's comment, a disease called
apathy and lack of motivation, no will to excel.

I think it's the lack of technical know-how. They may not even aware that the whole world is looking for the results etc. I was quite disappointed with the Thomas/Uber Cup Asia Qualifying website. I could have done it with hands tied together, one eye closed and someone constantly knocking me on the head. We need a techie person in there to coordinate the websites and the organisation to support him, but the bottom line is that there is no budget for these sort of things.

i think the iNa team will be fun to watch even if they are juniors, they will always come up with some strange playerseg Simon Santoso.
Park Sung Hwan I think worth watching if he plays.
Chen Jing definitely if he is selected.Lu Rong if she still
plays.
Also Japan's Hirose, and a few of their men's team, they
are not likely to win but enjoy their different approaches
to the game.
Dont forget the Korean team's head coach is Li Mao amd
Japanese Gu Jia Ming, great innovators of the game.
