At the Asia Cup i noticed some of the things that i wouldn't have on TV. For example, AS-40 shuttles were used instead of AS-50. Candra/Sigit = MP100 Thai Doubles Pair = MP100 Zhang Wei/Zhang Jun = Ti-10/Isometric 800 Tour Hendrawan = Isometric 800 Tour Taufik Hidayat = Cab 9 Chen Hong = Cab 20 Special Chen Yu = Ti-10 Lee Hyun = Ti-10 Bosana = Gosen ? btw only 1 player used a non-Yonex racket. That being Bosana who played the 1st singles for Thailand. Oh yeah, and the Malaysian national team
AS-40 Actually, I saw on TV that they were using AS-40. But regarding the rackets, I can't really see though I figured out some were using Ti-10 because it's quite distinctive. And yes Byro, can we meet this weekend then?
Re: AS-40 Hi Byro, That was asuch a good and accurate information, but i just want to know what is MP100 stand for? racket which is used by Candra and Sigit, are they red colour background? i know that, those rackets are YONEX's product. Is that the same which the one Candra used to win the olympic final??? ciao and thanks
Re: AS-40 I m very very and 100% sure. Have u ever seen the MP100 poster?? Candra was using the MP100 pairing with Tony Gunawan at the Olympic. It was clear that he used the MP100.
Re: AS-40 is chen hong using cab20 special?i think i saw ti10 if i am not wrong,and taufik used cab 9 ,i can't believe it,he still can play so well,are u sure cab9?
Candra/Tony Oh i remember now. Thanx Yudhi and Ricky. Btw, how long did Candra/Tony play together before they put them back with their orginal partners?
Nah No, i didn't even try, all those Chinese fans were all over the place...... couldn't even stand up
Re: Candra/Tony Sigit was banned after the 98 Singapore Open which was presumably held in July/Aug. Candra and Tony started playing together during the Bangkok Asian Games (or earlier). They played together for the whole of 99 and 2000 so it should be slightly more than 2 years.
Re: AS-40 I'm almost sure that Chen Hong was using a Cab 20 Special. The bottom of his racket was already Black and gold instead of green and white
