Not sure if anyone ever noticed and asked this question before. I just noticed some members have a "+" sign next to their login names. First I thought they are the indicator for "moderators", but seems not, as it also appears to others rather than Kwun/Cheung/Mag. Just wondering, if the "+" has a special meaning or represent a special group?

Yeah, I have seen that a lot Right now, Brave_Turtle also has it. It's like..... at least one person online will have it I smell bugs....
oh so strange. i have never seen it, i tried logging out and using a different users, etc. haven't seen any bug reports on it either. you guys aren't trying to get back at me for the april fools joke, are you?

Most users ever online was 66, 03-13-2004 at 12:15 PM. bluejeff , clownboat , crazy_smasher , LazyBuddy+ , Marky , Scriber , shiriblue , silentlight , Squid , tjo , Traum , xofrevlis now it looks like this Lazzy has it now.
Oh, I think the + sign means the person is replying/creating threads. I see Lazzy is replying a thread now at the status.

I thought it meant that your Buddy was online, because "Dill" mentioned that I have a + next to my name, and I noticed that he usually has a + next to his; I haven't noticed anyone not on my buddy list to have one next to theirs. Incidentally, I think the software is slightly better now; have you made a few changes, Kwun? Although, it's a pity there is no reply button in the pm folder nor an immediate link (in the pm folder) to the Sent Messages folder.
Ah........ mystery solved. i have both Cheung and Mag in my buddy list.. so i thought "+" means moderator... so you guys aren't pulling my leg afterall. one of these days. i will get around to reading the whole 5,000,000 page user manual for the forum software...
Hey Kwun, don't accredit Cappy with the genius of solving this mystery; I solved it on the first day (when Dill asked me) .... On a serious note, the software does look better recently (though, I'm still not sure about these emoticons - , & ); I like the pics (of Xia and ?Camilla) above the links on the Main BF page. I miss the reply button on pm's; and what happened to the Sticky about string tension? I've seen a resurrection of this question recently (despite the Kwun's thread http://www.badmintonforum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=12569&highlight=ideal - cf. particularly ynexfan's cogent remarks on universals ). I've also noticed that it takes much longer to connect to the forum and to search for new posts. But apart from those things, the forum has improved in various ways and probably now houses the most exciting online badminton community.
ynexfan2003, glad you like the improved color and the top images. hopefully there will be more improvements as time goes on. but bear with me as there are much to do. about the reply in PM. there is a "quote" button, which is "reply with quotes". probably should be named "reply" instead as many users have been confused by it. i was looking for the similar image/button for reply but haven't found one yet. will fix that one soon. as for speed. i am surprised you find it slower than before. most (including me) have found it to be speedier, perhaps you have logged on to the forum as higher load times?
hi. im enquiring on the function of the 'buddy list'. what does it really do besides putting a '+' marker next to a user's name? and how do you excess other functions if any. thanks in advance jug
