Agree with your no.1 and no.5...both these matches are in my top 5 together with LD vs LCW OG 12 F....mostly dominated by matches between these two

How come you don't mention OG Gold Medal Match 2008 (LD vs. LCW)??? There has never been a better player on court... Imho, it's the best match by a player ever. Being fairly one sided, there isn't any kind of suspense or something. But LD's performance is breath-taking.
I think OG Gold Medal match 2008 is the best match that LD played in his career so far. But it may not be the best match overall as it was fully dominated by one player and therefore lacked of uncertainty that kept the audience on edge.

At Beijing 2008 Lin Dan was so awesome he blew all opposition away, I simply couldn't think of anyone who could come near him, so much so that it stands alone as his most dominating match/tournament ever. I too feel there's no need to single out this match, Lin Dan vs Lee CW Beijing'08, just his other more closely fought matches with Lee CW and the one with Chen Long at the Incheon AG will do.
Actually, I agreed with you, it, the Lin Dan vs Lee CW Beijing'08 match, is the best of the best, no list will be complete without it.
I think the 1999 All-England final was a great match. A young Peter Gade who was untouchable but a TH who was just the greatest natural talent of recent times marking his arrival.
