Can someone comfirm that the old victor grip sizes are the same diameter as the new victor grip size?
The old G2 was definitely smaller, no matter what they say. Compare a Yonex G5 with a (new) Victor G5, too - the Yonex is smaller.
From what I've had. I've found that the old pre 2011 G2 is larger than the current G5 and later G2s. While the 2011 onwards G2 are smaller than then current G5
I have at VT80 3UG4 and a MX90 3UNew-Victor-G5 and would say that the New-Victor G5 is clearly smaller than Yonex G4
Ok, my previous post is of course not contradicting your post. Since Yonex G4.5 is smaller als Yonex G4. So, also Victor-New G4 is not (roughly) the same as Yonex G4 ?
I think all the new-Victor handles are half a size bigger than the Yonex equivalent. No idea why this should be.
Victor has posted this on Facebook: https://scontent-b-ams.xx.fbcdn.net...343_565809416853267_8359724132998895266_o.jpg But they don't say if they measure the handle with the original grip or not. You can find the Yonex Grip diameters with original grip for instance here: http://badminton-coach.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/Petes-Badminton-Guide.pdf So for instance Yonex G4 diameter = 8,89 cm > 8,5 cm = New Victor G4 diameter. This would contradict of what Mark said or the Yonex original leather grip is much thicker than the Victor one and the Yonex handles are smaller counted without the original grip.
