PV has good opportunity to bag some good ranking points..
She also can have a chance of taking CWG revenge from LM..
CM has a tough draw..she'll again face Su hun and also ZB..
    I doubt on KS's participation...
Its all way in CHN SSP it is followed by HKG open...

Bad draw for He Bingjiao and Han Li. If HBJ survives the qualies, her 1st round opponent is Han Li.

Probably because this event was cancelled and only added back after the forum structure for 2014 was set up.

Given this being a great show case for the next generation talents, I think Admin should give it a prominent spot in the main structure, if possible.

It's too bad that the Japanese young WS players are not in this event to continue the battle of the youth.

For me, I much prefer to see Sun Yu and He Bingjiao in the WS Final than Han Li who has many opportunities to compete at SS level unlike HBJ.

If only the JPN hopefuls, esp Akane and Nozomi, are also here too as I always want to see CHN players, even for their 2nd stringers and juniors, pitted against the best in the ROW.

Saw this name, WS Gao Fangjie, CHN, born 9/29/1998, ranked 592 (as of 11/20/2014), playing in the qualification rounds. She together with Chen Yufei, born 3/1/1998 and 17-yr-old He Bingjio are in the CHN junior squad. Let's see how far they can go. Likewise for WJC Lin Guipu and YOG champ Shi Yuqi.

I was eagerly looking forward to Xue Song meeting Srikanth, if possible, and Yao Xue if not Sun Yu again playing Marin. And should it come to He BJ crossing swords with Marin, an even better treat.

Not bad, Shi Yuqi, good lad. Arvind Bhat at the GER Open GPG'14 was impressive beating the likes of Hu Yun, Darren Liew, Viktor Axelsen, Chou Tien Chen, and Hans Vittinghus.
