The strings are Ashaway Zymax 67.
Racquet is my trusty Yonex Ti3 SP. Bought it 15 years ago in Singapore!

Played a few games with it tonight. Feels good! :D

Yeah I've not played in a few years tho so it's just been in my bag.
I'm going to Bangkok next week on holiday though...so I'm gonna get a new racquet there.

Just for reference, dont buy racket in ANY malls in Thailand. Their prices are insane... i meant, even after their attach DISCOUNT 95% OFF,... still the price is wayyy to obvious to trick foreigners! Go to MRCSport.com (located 5 mins walk from BTS Nana.... if i remember correctly, but you can always check out the website & get the map there). Rackets are 100% authentic, while the price is probably one of the best deal you can ever find in Asia. And that is without any DISCOUNT emblem!

I'm telling myself 1 for now but you never know!

BTW can you barter in shops or ask for discount if you're buying more stuff?

Oh yes, BTS Ari. Sorry for the mistake. I dont think a "barter" system is still being used in big cities nowadays. However, you should check out mrcsports website to find if there is any discounted promo for certain items for this month..or next month. And dont bother visiting those sport shops behind National Stadium (not sure if still there), most of them tend to apply "double standard" pricing. You ask 'em in English or non-Thai language and they will increase their price more. You speak Thai but your eyes are not Asian or hair is blonde.... then you can expect their dishonesty too.

I went to Mr C sports today. The lady there was very nice, she didnt speak much English but I already knew what I wanted and managed to tell her (by using a calculator for numbers, haha) that I wanted the racquet strung to 24lb as well.

So, we went to 7/11 round the corner to get drinks and came back 30mins later and it was ready! Really fast service. It's only a small shop but worth going to. Very easy to find from BTS Ari too.

Got a Nanoray 750 with BG65ti @ 24lb :) roughly £90. At home in the UK it would cost me £135!

Oh, forgot to say. It's 4ug6....! Tiny grip for small Thai hands I guess :)

I thought the smallest grip size for yonex is G5.
