I'm trying to organise a charity tournament in Wales for September 2001 - with no experience except enjoying the game and playing in two open tournaments. Can anyone advise me on the format and management of the event on the day?

Thanks for replying, 'Wedge' - the one and only response to date!
It will be a round robin event - it's advice on the management of the day e.g. if you have 6 courts from 9.30am to 6.30pm and invite entries from county, league and non-league players, how do you decide who plays with who - and when; should some kind of handicap system be used for less endowed players like me - if so, how does it work? How do you decide whether to run a plate competition etc. Luckily I have found a local genius who has promised to give me some guidance notes - so you don't have to rack your brains like I've been doing for the last month! But a big THANKYOU for bothering to write anyway!!
    Orlabest!
