Why do shops in Pertama Complex sell racquets so cheaply ?
For example, a MP 77 is sold at RM260 only, compare to the retail price of RM610 ?
Why ?

I don't know much about Pertama Complex but I would guess they could be fakes. Or stolen. I know stolen phones are a hot commodity in the Philippines. I'd be a little suspicious but then again you might just be getting a great deal. If that's the case I have to ask my friend to get me some.

They usually get the products cheaper than the retail and the price that they themselfs are selling.

sometimes the manufacturer may be clearing their inventory in a particular country...
i called Jaya Jusco a couple of months ago and they told me that their MP55 was on a 70% discount... they said that Yonex tried out the MP series in the Malaysian market but was dissapointed because the Ti series was selling better... he said that Yonex want to clear all their MP55's...
Dont know if thats the case with the MP77 but maybe... or they could be fakes... are all the stores in Pertame selling at the same price...??

how much is mp100 there? mp77 and mp55 are not very popular mp rackets and that is probably why it is cheap in malaysia.

I bought most of my badminton stuff from Pertama Complex and so far has not encountered anyone trying to sell be fakes .. yet
The good thing about Pertama is that you can haggle, of course always be in a look out for fakes. I think some of the prices are cheap because the bigger stores are able to buy in big bulk from the suppliers (since they already have a strong customer base) which allows them to command a better price .. they in turn price the items cheaper so that they'll be able to get rid of them and cheaper prices normally translates to more customers ... and so on, or they could be selling fakes
.. just my 2 cents ..

Hi, I just gave a shop in Pertama a call and was told that apparently you won't be able to get that model in Malaysia
