It is an MP99. MP90 is a domestic model for Japan only, presumedly to target a higher price market. I do play with both MP90 and MP99 almost every week, and I feel my MP99 is better (the MP90 belongs to a fellow player). But this could be down to the different strings and stringing patterns we were using. I use BG68Ti and Yonex stringing pattern whereas his MP90 uses BG80 and a stringing pattern that uses only 21 cross strings instead of 22. He also uses a coach to string his racquets but complains that his grommets are sometimes damaged after stringing, and are replaced with non muscle power type grommets, which he is not too happy with.

I don't think the injury was too bad. It looked at first but after that he played very well and picked up on Lee's new tactic of pushing him around. so there's i dont think there's too much of a worry:) :)
